Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using Omantu you confirm that any information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to represent any company you list.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. What Omantu is — and is not

Omantu is a discovery and introductions platform. We do not handle investments, hold funds, provide legal, tax, or financial advice, and we are not a broker, dealer, or investment adviser. Any agreement reached between users is solely between them.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you publish. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the platform. You confirm you have the rights necessary to share anything you upload.

5. Acceptable use

• No fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful conduct.
• No harassment, spam, or solicitation outside the platform's intended use.
• No scraping, reverse-engineering, or circumventing access controls.
• No infringement of intellectual property or confidentiality.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid memberships are billed in advance through Stripe at the rates displayed on the pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

7. AI features

Omantu uses AI to generate startup scores and pitch suggestions. These outputs are informational only, may be inaccurate, and must not be relied upon as professional advice or investment recommendations.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose risk to other users or the platform. You may close your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of user content or the outcomes of any introductions.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black Habit Limited's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
