This page is maintained by Black Habit Limited to answer common questions about what data Omantu collects and how we use it. For the full legal text see our Privacy Policy.

What we collect

  • Account essentials: name, email, role.
  • Profile and startup content you choose to publish.
  • Files you upload: logos, cover images, pitch decks.
  • Messages exchanged after an interest is accepted.
  • Subscription status from our payment processor (Stripe).
  • Standard usage and device data to operate the platform.

How we use it

  • Other members — your published profile and startups.
  • You and the other party — messages within an accepted connection.
  • Service providers — Stripe, Supabase, and AI providers, under contract.
  • Black Habit Limited staff — only as needed to operate the service.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use your private messages to train third-party AI models.
  • We do not share contact details outside of features you choose to use.

Your controls

  • Edit or unpublish any startup or profile field at any time.
  • Cancel your subscription from the pricing page.
  • Request data export or deletion by emailing contact@blackhabit.co.uk.

AI features

Our startup scoring and pitch improvement features send the listing's public profile fields to an AI provider. Outputs are stored alongside the listing and shown to you and (where relevant) to investors viewing the listing. AI outputs are informational, not advice.
